Audi A1 GB 40 TFSI 200HP – EGO-X Exhaust System (ECE Approved)

This EGO-X exhaust system for the Audi A1 40 TFSI is handmade using MAG welding and consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is approximately 76 mm.

Selecting the operating mode (optional)

1. Bull-X Tronic control unit (ECE approved)
   Includes ECE approval, legal for Finnish road traffic.

2. Exhaust flap control with switch (NOT ECE approved)
   One controller for one valve.

3. Exhaust flap control with remote control (NOT ECE approved)
   One controller for one valve, conveniently controlled by remote control.

4. Bull-X Tronic "Race" Can-Bus control unit (NOT ECE approved)
   No ECE approval, intended for racing only.

With ECE type approval

(Only applies to the Bull-X Tronic control unit, which includes ECE approval)

This exhaust system has ECE approval, so it can be used on Finnish roads without having to be separately marked in the vehicle documents.

While driving, you can select Comfort or Sport mode. If your car has a driving profile selection, the control works through it. In cars without this feature, the supplied button allows control. The LED light on the button indicates whether the valve is open (light off) or closed (light on).

The control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by ECE regulations, regardless of driving mode.

Bull-X Tronic offers two control modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): The valve is mostly open within the ECE-approved limits. When stationary and at speeds between 20 and 80 km/h, the valve remains closed.

• Comfort: The valve is normally closed, but opens when the gas is pressed above 75%.

Without ECE type approval

(Applies to Bull-X Tronic "Race" Can-Bus control unit)

If the car has a driving profile selection (e.g. sports mode), control is done through it. In cars that do not have this, the supplied button enables control.

The LED light on the button shows the valve position: light off = valve open, light on = valve closed.

Bull-X Tronic "Race" offers two control options:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race)

• Comfort (valve opens at 75% throttle position)

Attention! The version without ECE approval is not allowed on public roads in Finland – it is intended for track and racing use only.

Important:
If you install an exhaust system without ECE approval, the consequences may include: driving ban, failure in the inspection and possible fines. For legal road use, you should always choose an ECE approved version.
